As with all faith communities, the worship, work and witness of Edith Rankin Memorial United Church is made possible only through voluntary financial support. We gratefully welcome your donation which may be made in any of the following ways:
- By mail. Please send cheques only, made payable to "Edith Rankin Memorial United Church", to 4080 Bath Road, Kingston, ON, K7M 4Y7. Be sure to include your printed name and address so we can send a receipt.
- By Offering Envelope. Regular and occasional worshipers may request "offering envelopes" from the church office. These may be presented as "offering" at services of worship or mailed to the church office.
- By PAR (Pre-Arranged Remittance). Arrangements may be made through the church office (613-389-2530) for monthly deductions from your bank account. Should you wish to increase or decrease the monthly deduction at any time, simply phone the church office and our Administrative Secretary will be happy to oblige you.
- By Planned Giving. This program has a variety of ways that people may wish to contribute a substantial and lasting legacy to our work and witness. Please contact the church office for more detailed information.
- By Designated Donations. Donations may be designated to "Local Offering" (i.e. the operating expenses of the congregation's work and ministry), "M & S Fund" (i.e. Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada which supports the collective work of the UCC throughout Canada and around the world), "Memorial Fund" (i.e. donations in memory of a loved one) and other occasional special projects. All undesignated donations will be assigned to "Local Offering".
- By simply dropping into the church office between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tax receipts for donations of $10 or more will be mailed annually in January or February.
