Christian Education Programs

Sunday School:
Our Sunday School program gets under way each fall, the weekend following Labour Day. We usually begin with registration on the second Sunday of September to welcome all our eager learners. Then the following Sunday(usually the third Sunday), we have a "Welcome Sunday", with food and refreshments, sponsored by the Sunday School and the Welcome Team. Here, we extend a warm, friendly welcome to all our members (new and old) and we celebrate who we are as a church family.

All classes are using the "Seasons of the Spirit" curriculum. Decisive Issues:
A discussion group, welcomes new members who enjoy the challenge of new ideas in faith formation . They meet Monday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m. in Upper Clark Hall, and every 2nd Monday throughout the coming months. At present they are studying Bishop Spong's book 'A New Christianity For A New World'.

Adult Bible Study
This year's study is entitled 'Faith Weavers' and begins Tuesday, September 13, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Friendship Room. You are welcome to join them at any time. Beginning in December this group will follow the lectionary lessons on which our Ministers usually base their sermons using as their resource 'The Whole People of God'.

Seminars
Both of our ministers throughout the year will be offering Study Groups. These study sessions can accommodate people on either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. Rev. Micheline Montreuil will lead a 3-session study during advent entitled 'Expect, Prepare and Welcome'.

UCW Units:
The 7 Units of UCW welcome new members at their meetings. Since the days and times for their meetings vary, hopefully there is one that is convenient for you. For their web page, click here.

Men's AM Fellowship Breakfast:
The last Sunday of each month, our men meet at 8:00 a.m. They have a variety of speakers to stimulate discussion. To visit their site, click here.

Youth Group:
Our active Youth Group, under the able leadership of Lori Servage - Staff Associate Youth, enjoy activities which keep them growing in their Christian faith. For their web page, click here.
